This is the shocking moment furious hookers hit a British tourist with their high-heel shoes in a payment dispute.

The middle-aged holidaymaker and a friend had been drinking at the bar complex while buying drinks for young girls in Sin City Pattaya in eastern Thailand.

But the bald-headed man sparked angry scenes when he allegedly refused to pay the full bill, which included the prostitutes' drinks which had a 50 per cent markup.

Chaotic expletive-filled scenes ensued as the man was overpowered by several sex workers and pinned to the ground as they demanded payment.

Footage shows how they removed their stilettos and whacked him in the forehead before following it up with kicks and slaps. One woman is heard saying 'take the money in his pocket' before another tries to hit him with a pool queue.

With blood pouring down his face, the man managed to get to his knees. He's heard asking: 'Why you being nasty for, why you being nasty?'

A bystander intervened, dragging one of the women away and telling them to 'calm down' while saying 'please don't hit him'.

The older bar manager in a black dress then continues to order the Brit to leave while grappling with him.

She says: 'Get the f*** out from my bar now. Get the f*** out. F*** you. Do you want some more beating?' 

He then approached her, but she pushed him away before another woman helped to push him out of the bar.  

As he walked away, the bar owner shouted 'go away, f*** off.'

The filmer, herself an employee at the bar, said no police report was filed.

She added: 'This man didn't want to pay for the drinks he had ordered. He was drunk and causing trouble. Then he wouldn't leave when he was told to.

'I felt sorry for him because his head was hurt but he must respect women when he goes to bars. It is our job.'

Former fishing village Pattaya became popular with American troops on 'rest and relaxation' breaks in the 1950s and 1960s when the U.S. military had bases in Thailand while fighting Communism in Vietnam. Rural families are said to have even dressed their sons as women to cash in on the gold rush.

The handful of bars in the coastal town quickly grew and it is now the world's biggest sex holiday destination, with round-the-clock prostitution and drugs - a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah rife with crime and debauchery.

Government chiefs have attempted to clean up the city but regular violence, depravity and claims of corruption continue to blight its reputation.
