This sprawling snow park, nestled over 30 meters underground in Changsha, central China's Hunan Province, was once an abandoned mine pit covering an area equivalent to 25 football fields.
Today, it has been transformed into a vibrant winter wonderland, drawing crowds of visitors eager to ski in a region where snow is a rare sight.

"The snow park has been open for four years. As the popularity of skiing in Changsha and Hunan Province continues to grow, nearly 70 percent of our visitors are eager to try it. This year, our ski school has also launched nearly 10,000 ski training sessions, helping tens of thousands of visitors better understand the sport and promoting ice and snow activities."
