Footage of a lost baby raccoon being cared for by a woman who found the animal while out walking her dog.

The video, filmed in Old Toronto, Canada on May 5, shows the woman caring for cute critter, which appears to be crying for its mother.

The dog walker discovered the animal shivering in the cold so decided to take it home with her and keep it warm while trying to find its mother.

Fortunately, the woman was able to locate the raccoon's mum in a nearby alleyway, and the pair were reunited.

After finding a baby raccoon all alone, no mother in sight, my girlfriend along with a neighbour made sure the baby was warm (it was shivering when she found it), taking it inside and wrapping it in a blanket.
