US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Vehicle Pursuit Into Hydrant
Bakersfield, United States - February 05, 2025 02/05/2025 08:00 am (GMT-0800) BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – At approximately 8 a.m., the Bakersfield Police Department was in a vehicle pursuit of a male driving an older Honda sedan. The pursuit ended when the vehicle crashed into a hydrant and another water line in the 10000 block of Stockdale Highway. Bakersfield police officers arrested the driver shortly after the Bakersfield Fire Department and Cal Water were dispatched to stop the water flow from the gushing hydrant. The reason for the pursuit is unknown at this time.
