36th Nigma Monlam Chenmo Puja to wish for world peace at Mahabodhi Temple in Bodhgaya, Northern India
The 36th Nigma Monlam Chenmo puja has started from 29 January - 7 February at the Mahabodhi Temple wishing for world peace. This puja will continue till the leadership of Shinchen Ramzang Rinpoche, the best religious leader of the Nigma sect.
A group of Buddhist devotees from Bhutan, Nepal, Ladakh, Sikkim, Himachal and other states participated in the Bodhgaya.
Spiritual religious has been leaders and followers collectively wish for the welfare of all humanity and living beings.
For the puja, decorations have been done around the Bodhi tree in the temple with Torma and flowers. Torma is dedicated to the worshipable Gods and Goddesses. There are pictures of many gods and goddesses on the Torma. The religious leader sit in front of it and recite the scriptures.
