Fifteen young Cameroonians participated in a Chinese singing competition at the Confucius Institute of the University of Yaounde II on Friday to showcase their talent and Chinese language skills.

"I'm very happy today to win this competition, which wasn't easy at all. We started about two months ago, and there were a lot of participants. I'm thrilled to be selected, shortlisted, and ultimately to win the competition."
The final of the 11th "Voice of Cameroon" was held to celebrate the first Spring Festival since its inscription on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2024.
