'Under what law!!': Protesters push back after an arrest was made as around a thousand reject plans for a new Chinese embassy at Tower Hill

Over 1,000 people from the Hong Kong Chinese, Tibetan, Southern Mongolian and the Uyghur diasporas protested outside the proposed site for a new Chinese Embassy at Tower Hill (February 8).

Protesters surrounded a police van as a woman was arrested for unknown reason, and chaos ensued as a member of the crowd appeared to collapse nearby.

Tower Hamlets council, blocked the plans under the previous government, with the Metropolitan Police raising security concerns.
