US, Phoenix: Phoenix Van Buren Street Vehicle vs Pedestrian
Phoenix, United States - February 07, 2025 02/07/2025 06:35 pm (GMT-0700) PHOENIX, Ariz.– Phoenix Fire and Phoenix Police responded just east of the 51st Avenue and Van Buren Street intersection to reports of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. When units arrived on the scene, they located a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Phoenix Police closed Van Buren Street from 51st Avenue to 49th Avenue. Several vehicles could be seen at the location with their hazard flashers on. It is unclear which, if any, of the vehicles were involved in the collision. The investigation and subsequent road closure were expected to last several hours.
