Liberals in Ohio protested over 'First Buddy' Elon Musk, who is slashing wasteful spending by the U.S. government.

The demonstration took place on Wednesday, February 5, with activists voicing strong opposition to Musk's recent actions, including dismantling key government agencies.

Footage shows a protester holding a sign reading 'Nobody elected Elon' as chants of 'Deport Elon!' echo through the streets of Columbus.

Musk, who supported President Donald Trump's candidacy, was appointed to co-lead the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

DOGE is currently working to reduce what it considers wasteful federal spending.

Demonstrators called for the preservation of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which oversees foreign aid, relief programs, and international development projects.

Musk announced plans to shut down the agency as part of DOGE's mission to streamline government operations.

The same activity, dubbed '50501'- 50 protests, 50 states, one day—was held simultaneously in Atlanta, Austin, and Philadelphia.
