STORYLINE:
A temporary relocation site has been set up to accommodate evacuated residents after a landslide occurred on Saturday in Jinping Village, Junlian County, southwest China's Sichuan Province.
Located at a middle school in Junlian County, the relocation site accommodates 167 people from 43 households.
Besides daily necessities, the facility offers various services, including security patrols, medical assistance, volunteer support, psychological counseling, and logistical support. A 24-hour canteen has also served to ensure hot meals and water can be timely provided to residents and working staff.

"We must properly accommodate each of the evacuated people, promptly addressing their urgent needs and concerns."
As of 11 a.m. Sunday, the landslide had left one person dead, 28 missing, and two injured.
The province has mobilized 949 personnel from the military, armed police, firefighting, emergency response, transportation, medical, telecommunication, and other forces to carry out or assist the rescue efforts.
Local authorities have distributed emergency supplies to ensure essential needs like food, shelter, and heating are met.
