Footage of baby otters and other wild animals rescued after losing their mothers in their natural habitats.

The video, filmed in Palawan, Philippines earlier this year, shows the adorable animals gathered in a basket after they became orphans due to "human encroachment" on their homes.

The filmer later wrote online: "They [the animals] include a masked civet, pangolin or scaly anteater, otters and blue naped parrots.

"The otters are still with me."

These are some of the animals displaced by human encroachment into their habitats in Palawan, Philippines. I have saved them when I can. They include a masked civet, pangolin or scaly anteater, otters and blue-naped parrots. The otters are still with me. I thought I was saving them, but they have saved me from a heart afraid to love earths' creatures too well because of pets I have loved and lost.
