This is the moment the Empire State Building in New York lit up green to mark the Eagles' Super Bowl win.

Footage shows the iconic structure illuminated in shifting shades of white and emerald, offering a reluctant tribute to the Philadelphia Eagles following their victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, February 9.

The building's official account stated: 'I'm going to be sick. Shining in Eagles colors for the rest of the evening.'

The Eagles, part of the NFC East division and rivals of the New York Giants, enjoyed a successful championship season, with key contributions from running back Saquon Barkley. He joined the Eagles as a free agent after six seasons with the Giants.

Philadelphia Eagles recently defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The victory denied the Chiefs an unprecedented third consecutive title - sending Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce off the field in tears.
