On Tuesday, North Sinai Governorate in Egypt received a number of injured Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. The individuals underwent treatment at El Arish General Hospital and were distributed to different departments according to their conditions.
A medical team at the Rafah crossing worked to evaluate the appropriate treatment and hospitalization for the victims, according to medical reports written by senior doctors in coordination with hospitals and the Ministry of Health and Population.
Ahmed Mansour, director of El Arish General Hospital, said that all cases have witnessed significant improvement and that some previously bedridden individuals have begun to regain movement.
Mansour added that a high-level medical team of doctors, nurses and radiology technicians has been assigned to examine all cases daily.
Some victims were transferred to Cairo due to a need for advanced surgical intervention.
