"We were overwhelmed. It exceeded our expectations. It's the first time for me in China, first time in Harbin. It's a great city, very, very, very welcoming city. I like the people, I like the volunteers, they're doing a great job. The organizing company and everything that we've seen so far was way beyond our expectations. Regardless of the language barrier, we really, really felt so welcomed here. The Chinese people are really nice."

SOUNDBITE 4 (Japanese): NAOKI MORITA, Japanese journalist
"Everything related to the Winter Asian Games has been very convenient.
Harbin is a very cold city, but the volunteers here are very gentle and hospitable, which makes me feel warm.
I am amazed by the speed at which sports in China are developing. I also participated in the coverage of the Hangzhou Asian Games, and it was really impressive."
