Stray bull boards a BUS an rampages through the aisle
A bull rampaged through a bus causing traffic chaos in India.
The untethered farm animal reportedly bolted into the bus that was parked near a crossing in Jaipur City in Rajasthan state, on February 10 evening.
Dramatic video shows the terrified bus conductor and driver fleeing from the vehicle as the bull tore across the bus aisle and shattered one of the windows.
The rampage caused temporary traffic congestion as passing drivers steered clear of the bus containing the out-of-control animal.
Onlookers said they were too scared of the bull to try catching it. It later calmed down and eventually walked away from the scene, leaving the bus significantly damaged.
Local media reported there were no injuries or casualties.
India has hundreds of thousands of cows roaming its streets.
It is party due to devout locals who follow Hindu customs, with cows regarded as sacred animals that cannot be eaten or slaughtered once they have stopped producing milk. The majority of states ban the sale or slaughter of cows.
Instead of dealing with the economic burden of keeping their spent cattle, many farmers let the beasts roam the streets - leading to chaos when the animals become agitated and turn their fury on humans.
