The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers conducted a massive cleanup operation on February 11, clearing debris from homes affected by recent wildfires.

Crews can be seen using excavators to remove bricks, concrete, and other materials damaged by the fire.

The Palisades Fire broke out on January 7, near Los Angeles. It burned more than 23,400 acres, including homes and businesses in Pacific Palisades and along the Pacific Coast Highway.

The Eaton wildfire devastated entire neighborhoods in the Altadena and Pasadena areas.
