Phoenix, United States - February 12, 2025 02/12/2025 05:30 pm (GMT-0700) PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix Police Department officers were involved in a shooting near the intersection of 29th Avenue and Loma Lane Wednesday afternoon. Preliminary information suggests that the suspects involved in the shooting fled in a vehicle and drove to 61st Avenue and Northern Avenue, where their vehicle crashed. Following the collision, one man was seen being taken out of a police car and placed into an ambulance at the intersection of 59th Avenue and Northern before being transported to the hospital. A second man was seen in handcuffs, speaking with officers and suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his thigh. The man was loaded into the back of an ambulance and transported to a local area hospital. Officers have established large crime scenes at both locations. An update will follow.
