Screams and shouts when a group of six friends on holiday in Phong Nha took on the "Impossible Monkey Bridge" bike challenge, capturing the moment on TikTok where it has garnered over 700,000 views.

Each friend was granted three attempts to ride a bicycle across the narrow, makeshift bridge. As their final attempts loomed, the bridge's owner upped the stakes when he promised the entire group a free beer if one of them could successfully make it across.

Fueled by victory, one friend mounted the bike for the last try. Against all odds, he navigated the bridge and reached the other side, achieving what they all thought was impossible.

We attempted the challenge as a group of 6 where we each got 3 attempts. We had all failed miserably, until on our final attempt as a group, the owner promised us all a free beer if my friend made it over. That’s why we went so extra crazy as not only did he do the insanely difficult task (I could only get half way), it was the last attempt and we all got a free beer !
