Thailand - February 12, 2025 Another 260 foreign nationals rescued from online scam syndicates in Myanmar were handed over to authorities in Thailand on Wednesday. This came after Thailand cut power and fuel supplies to five border towns in Myanmar linked to illegal online scamming activities. Thai authorities are now working with embassies to verify the victims' identities and facilitate their safe return home.
