Police officers rescue stray puppy that wandered onto busy highway in China
On February 13th, in Changning District, Shanghai, a stray puppy accidentally wandered onto an elevated roadway, pacing back and forth in distress. The unfamiliar surroundings left the puppy frightened and disoriented, while the heavy traffic around it posed a constant danger of being hit by a vehicle.
At that moment, two traffic police officers happened to be patrolling the area and immediately took action upon noticing the urgent situation. Carefully approaching the puppy, they used gentle voices to soothe and guide it before safely picking it up.
After the rescue, the officers contacted a local animal rescue organization and ensured the puppy was safely handed over for care.
