A 75-year-old woman, who fell into a well on a farm, was safely pulled out by the fire rescue team.

The incident took place around 2 PM in Valpoi City, located in North Goa district, Goa, western India, on February 14.

The visuals show a group of people gathered around the well. A man is seen standing on top of a ladder, firmly holding the elderly woman’s hands, while another man below supports her to lift her up. A third man holds the ladder underneath to provide stability. Eventually, the elderly woman is safely pulled out as the man on top lifts her, while another man secures him to prevent a fall.

Speaking to Newslions, Rohan, a fire control operator, stated that the fire department received the alert around 1:22 PM. A fire officer from Valpoi, who was on leave and belonged to the same village, rushed to the scene and assisted the woman inside the well until the team arrived. Using a rope and ladder, the rescue team successfully brought the woman to safety by 3:11 PM.
