Heavy snowfall has blanketed parts of Atlantic Canada, with several inches of snow covering the door of a home in Curling, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Footage filmed by Connie Boland on February 15, 2025, shows the aftermath of the accumulating snow, as the region braces for a major late-weekend winter storm.
Forecasters warn that the incoming system could bring significant snow and ice, with northern New Brunswick expecting 30-40+ cm of snowfall. Officials advise residents to avoid non-essential travel due to hazardous road conditions.
Connie notes that western Newfoundland and Labrador is experiencing a traditional winter, just in time for the winter carnival starting next Friday.
