This is the moment tourists were seen fighting on a road and disrupting traffic in Thailand.

Footage shows the backpackers exchanging blows in front of a bar on the bustling holiday island Phuket on February 16.

Onlookers cheered the fighters on as they scuffled near a zebra crossing, blocking pedestrians and cars.

The fight ended with one person unconscious. The person was seen being carried away from the scene by several men.

Phuket has become one of Asia's most popular tourist destinations, but it has also attracted criminals and rowdy holidaymakers.
