Wad Madani, Sudan - February 15, 2025 After the army took control of the capital of Al-Jazeera state, Wad Damdani, life is gradually returning to various sectors, especially the health sector, which witnessed great destruction and almost complete collapse of the health system, especially the kidney hospital in Wad Damdani, where the dialysis machines for patients were looted and vandalised, which led to the death of more than 148 people and the suffering of many patients; but after the armed forces advanced and extended their control, the kidney hospital returned to full operation as the machines and equipment for the hospital, medicines and generators were provided, and life returned again to the hospital and the city in general.
