Drivers slams on brakes to avoid cat - seconds later, landslide buries road in China
On the night of 17th February in Yulin, Shaanxi, Mr Wu was driving along a rural road when a cat suddenly darted across his path. Instinctively, he hit the brakes to avoid the animal.
Mere seconds after stopping, a landslide occurred on the hillside ahead, sending a mass of rocks and dust crashing onto the road, completely obscuring visibility.
Thanks to his emergency stop, Mr Wu’s car narrowly escaped the disaster, remaining untouched by the falling debris.
Reflecting on the incident, Mr Wu expressed his gratitude, believing that if not for the cat’s unexpected “warning,” the landslide might have struck his vehicle directly. He described the feline as “spiritually perceptive” and felt incredibly lucky.
