Montreal remains snowed in, with dozens of vehicles buried under deep snow after two massive storms hit the city just days apart.

Footage captured by Feigang Fei shows cars completely engulfed in snow, highlighting the scale of the challenge ahead. Officials estimate that clearing operations will take up to eight days, leaving many streets impassable.

“There will be no collections pickup this week,” city spokesperson Philippe Sabourin confirmed, urging residents to follow parking restrictions to allow plows to work efficiently.

“We need everyone’s cooperation,” he added. “Please be kind and help your neighbors, especially the elderly or those with mobility issues.”

With more than 70 cm of snow dumped across the city, Montrealers face a long cleanup ahead.
