This is the terrifying moment a wild boar knocks a woman over and attacks her in front of her house.

Shocking footage shows the black wild pig rampaging through city streets before knocking the woman down and biting her in a village in Mian County, near Hanzhong, Shaanxi province, on February 12.

Reports say the animal attacked two locals. One sustained injuries to the leg, while the other was injured in the face, arms, and legs.

Both victims are currently being treated in hospital. Their injuries are stable, and their lives are not in danger.

The wild boar is believed to have been searching for food after descending from a mountain. It was shot dead by local authorities to prevent further harm.

Wild boars, known for their aggressive behaviour, are often reported to destroy crops and pose a threat to people during encounters.
