This is the dramatic moment a fire ripped through a warehouse in Pennsylvania.

The four-alarm blaze broke out at the warehouse operated by SPS Technologies, which manufactures aerospace parts, in Abington Township, late evening on February 17.

Footage shows huge flames engulfing the building as firefighters battled the inferno.

Police citing residents said there were explosions inside the warehouse before the fire started.

Firefighters returned to the scene Tuesday morning, February 18, after more explosions erupted.

State governor Josh Shapiro said in a statement: 'The Department of Environmental Protection is on the ground coordinating with local hazmat teams, monitoring air quality, water runoff, and hazardous materials for any threat to the public. A shelter-in-place order within one mile of the facility is in effect due to the smoke filtering across the area. Please follow the directions of local authorities, and follow Abington Police for updates.'
