Police found 19 passengers crammed into a rickshaw in India.

A driver was fined for violating traffic laws after cops discovered the overloaded three-wheeler vehicle carrying a large number of passengers during a checkpoint conducted by Baruasagar police station in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, on February 15.

Footage shows the travellers stepping out of the four-seater tricycle one by one as they are counted.

Ten men seated on the passenger seat can be seen exiting the rickshaw, while three others were on the driver's seat.

Six more passengers were packed onto the back of the vehicle.

Area Officer Tahrauli said: 'The driver will face legal consequences for what happened.'

The driver was fined 1,000 Indian Rupees (approximately 9.61 GBP) for overloading.
