STORYLINE:
Morocco and France signed several agreements on Tuesday to strengthen cultural cooperation in areas such as film, artificial intelligence, cultural heritage protection, and video game development.
The signing took place in the Moroccan capital of Rabat on the final day of French Culture Minister Rachida Dati's three-day working visit.
At a press conference following the signing of the agreement, Moroccan Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid praised the cooperation and partnership between Rabat and Paris.
Bensaid emphasized the importance of consolidating the partnership between the two countries' private sectors, particularly in emerging fields such as video game development.
Dati said at the press conference that cultural relations form "a pillar at the base of a future" for France-Morocco ties. The French minister expressed his country's willingness to be a partner in Morocco's international cultural strategy.
