A brave female bus driver helped put out a fire under an 18-wheeler truck in Thailand.

Supaporn Pansuwo, 29, was travelling in her Smart Bus number 150 when she spotted the commotion in Nonthaburi, Thailand, on February 17.

She pulled over and brought fire extinguishers before assisting in dousing the blaze.

Footage shows Supaporn spraying the retardant onto the wheels where the flames spread.

She crawled under the trailer vehicle to reach critical areas.

More onlookers joined to help and they successfully prevented the fire from engulfing the entire truck.

Hero driver Supaporn said: 'I was driving to my last stop before returning to the depot when I noticed the fire.

'At that time, all I could think of was how to help them. I quickly parked the bus and grabbed my fire extinguisher.'

The bus driver added she was scared but knew what to do because she was trained on what to do in such cases.

She said: 'I was worried that the tire would explore but because I received training on hazardous materials, I had the presence of mind to handle the situation.'
