Homeowner's first reaction in earthquake is to protect his TV
At 20:04 on February 20, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Jinfeng District, Yinchuan, Ningxia, with noticeable tremors.
CCTV footage captured the moment of the quake, showing a man’s first instinct was not to seek shelter but to hold onto his shaking television in panic.
Mr. Jiang, the man in the video, later explained that since he lives in a high-rise building, escaping wasn’t an option. Seeing the TV wobble significantly, he instinctively decided to protect it without much thought.
