Phoenix, United States - February 18, 2025 02/18/2025 02:30 am (GMT-0700) PHOENIX, Ariz. – Firefighters from the cities of Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Town of Paradise Valley responded to reports of a house fire in the Dreamy Draw Estates near 26th Street and Hatcher Road around 2:30 a.m. Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke and flames billowing from a large upscale home. Fireground command quickly transitioned from an offensive strategy to a defensive operation due to the size and severity of the blaze. Firefighters exited the structure and deployed several hose lines around the home's exterior. A tower ladder was extended over the fireground, and an elevated master stream was deployed to assist with firefighting efforts. Knockdown was achieved on the main body of fire. Firefighters were expected to remain at the scene throughout the early morning hours while crews worked to extinguish hot spots. Phoenix Fire Department investigators were en route to determine the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported.
