Los Angeles, United States - February 18, 2025 02/18/2025 04:33 pm (GMT-0800) SUNLAND, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Incident command on scene reported a traffic collision on the 8200 block of West Foothill involving multiple vehicles Tuesday late afternoon. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a total of three people were reported injured in the crash, with one fatality: a 60-year-old man was reported to be in serious condition and was transported to a local trauma center; a 35-year-old woman in fair condition with minor injuries was transported to a local hospital; one 60-year-old woman was extricated from a vehicle by firefighters and found deceased. Sergeant Jodie McGee with the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Division spoke on camera and said seven vehicles were involved in the collision. At this time, it appears that the crash involved a medical emergency and a high rate of speed. The crash remains under investigation. LAPD INC#3303
