US, Los Angeles: Northridge CSUN Anti ICE Enforcement Student Protest With Sound On Tape Part 3
Los Angeles, United States - February 19, 2025 02/19/2025 02:00 pm (GMT-0800) NORTHRIDGE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Students at California State University, Northridge, staged a walkout and protest today in solidarity with migrant and undocumented students. The demonstration began just after noon. KNN spoke with one of the organizers, who gave insight into the protest. The protest was organized by Students Organizing Against Repression, a coalition advocating for increased support and protections for immigrant students. Among their demands, the group is calling on the university to designate CSUN as a sanctuary campus and to reallocate funding toward resources for undocumented students. At this time, there have been no reports of federal agents on campus.
