"We Africans must prepare ourselves to seize this opportunity, which will breathe new life into economies long reliant on raw materials."

SOUNDBITE 2 (French): IBRAHIM KALIL KONATE, Minister of Digital Transition and Digitization
"In agriculture, for a country where 20 percent of GDP comes from this sector, AI optimizes yields through intelligent drones and predictive systems.
In healthcare, AI algorithms simplify diagnostics and improve access to care.
In finance, AI-based fintech promotes financial inclusion and fraud prevention.
In security, AI enables early detection of cyberattacks and optimizes intelligence gathering."

SOUNDBITE 3 (French): WU JING, Director of Public and Government Affairs of Huawei in Cote d'Ivoire
"Africa has three advantages for achieving success in the AI industry. First, it is a niche with a resource of talented and youthful individuals ready to embrace new concepts and change.
Second, there is immense demand from consumers and end-users. Whether in education, healthcare, banking, or medicine, the needs are vast.
Third, there is a strong desire among most African countries to welcome this change. This change stems from the will of decision-makers and governments."
