With the approach of the holy month of Ramadan, where dates are a main component of the Egyptian table, the fifth Cairo International Date Festival was launched in Al Horreya Park in Cairo.

"Honestly, this is my first time coming to the festival. What I like most is the nice organization. It is very good. This festival has a lot of participation with many types of dates. Honestly, I have seen it for the first time. This is something that encouraged me to come to the festival.
The price of dates, as I buy them from someone who is the source of dates, is something that encourages me very much to buy them. I feel that the prices are good."
The festival includes different types of dates from all Egyptian governorates that are famous for palm cultivation and date production, in addition to the participation of date manufacturers from several Arab countries, including Algeria, Libya, Sudan, and Saudi Arabia.
