Los Angeles, United States - February 21, 2025 02/21/2025 03:25 am (GMT-0800) TARZANA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – LAPD West Valley officers were pursuing a burglary suspect in the 19100 block of West Ventura Boulevard early Friday morning. While officers were in pursuit, two LAPD cars crashed into each other and a pole.The LAPD was alerted to an "Officers Needs Help" call following the crash. Officers stated they needed a paramedic ambulance for a male officer, initially reported to be 25 years old. However, the LAPD did not confirm his age. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived and transported one male officer to an area hospital with minor injuries, confirmed a spokesperson for the LAPD. LAPD Valley Traffic Division officers were on the scene and began their investigation.The southbound 101 Freeway entrance at Vanalden Avenue was closed for an unknown duration. No one else was injured at this specific time in the ongoing pursuit of the suspects.
