US, Los Angeles: Bellflower High Speed Crash Leaves Hydrant Sheared And Power Pole Hanging
Los Angeles, United States - February 22, 2025 02/22/2025 12:11 am (GMT-0800) BELLFLOWER, Calif. – Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies and fire department crews responded to a reported vehicle versus structure collision at Lakewood Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue. Los Angeles County firefighters arrived and found a two-vehicle crash that had cut a power pole in half and sheared a fire hydrant. It did not appear the vehicles made contact with any building. High voltage lines were observed hanging low across Rosecrans Avenue. It is unclear if there were any injuries. Rosecrans was closed while the power company fixed the broken pole.
