US, Phoenix: Phoenix Motorcycle Crashes Into Fire Department Ambulance

Phoenix, United States - February 22, 2025 02/22/2025 02:42 am (GMT-0700) PHOENIX, Ariz. – A Phoenix Fire Department ambulance was rear-ended by a motorcycle while transporting a patient to a nearby hospital. The ambulance was traveling southbound on 7th Avenue near the Indian School Road intersection when the collision occurred. Following the crash, the motorcycle rider was alert and conscious. Per Phoenix Fire, two additional ambulances and an engine company responded to assist. Crews transferred the patient from the involved ambulance into a backup ambulance before continuing on their way to the nearby emergency room. The motorcycle rider was transported by an additional ambulance crew to the same nearby hospital for precautionary evaluation. Phoenix Police responded to the scene of the crash. The firefighters involved and the patient from the ambulance have not reported any collision-related injuries.
