STORYLINE:
A Tai Chi training program commenced on Sunday at the Chinese Garden of Serenity in Santa Lucija, southern Malta. Many local Tai Chi enthusiasts were drawn to this vibrant cultural exchange event.
Co-hosted by the Chinese Community Association in Malta and the 20th Chinese medical team for Malta from the Mediterranean Regional Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine (MRCTCM), the event includes Tai Chi classes and a free medical clinic.
Since its establishment by the Chinese and Maltese governments in 1994, MRCTCM has seen more than 100 doctors across 20 Chinese medical teams provide TCM treatments to approximately 250,000 Maltese patients.
