The Chinese animated blockbuster "Ne Zha 2" has sparked a wave of creativity. In Tongren, southwest China's Guizhou Province, an artisan has brought the film's main character to life through Miao ethnic embroidery.
In this art form, the embroiderer pricks traditional Miao patterns into the veins of leaves. It's a once-lost art that dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911).
