STORYLINE:

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Monday pledged an additional 1,000 million euros (1,046 million U.S. dollars) in aid to Ukraine, according to a press release from Moncloa, the Spanish Government Presidency.
   
The comprehensive aid package includes humanitarian assistance, funds for reconstruction, and support for the search for peace.

"Spain is committed to the full sovereignty of Ukraine, and only Ukraine can decide its future."
