Exclusive: Tiny octopus clings to man's hand and appears to wave goodbye before reluctantly returning to ocean

The filmer who captured the video in Bahia Pumalin, Chile, told Newsflare: "I found the octopus on the shore of the beach. When I tried to release it, it clung to me. After helping it detach, it swam away, spinning as if saying goodbye. After that, I went on with my daily tasks.

"The octopus was by the shore, and when I picked it up, it stuck to my hand with its suckers. After trying to free it, it kept holding on, so we helped it detach so it could return to the sea. I recorded the video myself with my phone."
