This is the shocking moment a train collided with a reckless car that ignored the level crossing barrier in Poland.

Footage shows the white vehicle crossing the railway line despite the lowered barrier in Swiebodzin on February 18 at around 9 am.

It was then violently hit by a Warsaw-to-Berlin train, causing it to overturn and skid, leaving a trail of debris.

Miraculously, no one was injured.

In a separate incident, a car stuck on a level crossing was pulled to safety just seconds before a train arrived in Stara Wies, near Piotrkow Trybunalski, on February 17.

A passing motorist, a friend of the driver, attempted to help but was unable to get the car moving.

With time running out, another driver offered a tow rope and used his off-road vehicle to assist.

The rescuer accelerated, pulling the car off the tracks with such force that it knocked the woman and her friend aside.

The state railway company later released safety advice for such emergencies. Drivers should abandon the vehicle immediately, ensure all passengers leave the car, and call 112 with the crossing's identification number from the Yellow Sticker to alert authorities, who may be able to halt train traffic.
