US, Los Angeles: Sun Valley Pallet Storage Fire

Los Angeles, United States - February 24, 2025 02/24/2025 09:37 am (GMT-0800) SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 11900 block of Sherman Road. Upon arrival, crews found heavy flames at the rear of a business with pallets, vehicles – including box trucks – and other items in the storage yard engulfed in fire, according to the LAFD. As firefighters battled the flames, they were also focused on protecting nearby commercial buildings from exposure to the fire. LAFD Spokesperson Nicholas Prange reported that it took firefighters 35 minutes to extinguish the flames while sparing the nearby commercial structures. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
