Indian actor survives car crash at Porsche Sprint Challenge in Spain
An Indian actor survived a car crash at a Porsche Sprint Challenge in Spain.
Ajith Kumar, 54, emerged unscathed after the collision at the Porsche Sprint Challenge in Valencia, Spain, on February 22.
Footage from Ajith's onboard camera shows the dramatic moment his car flips multiple times after colliding with a grey sports car on the racetrack.
He reportedly finished in 14th place in the fifth round of the race and was involved in two separate crashes during the sixth round.
Ajith's manager, Suresh Chandra, said: 'The video evidence clearly shows that Ajith was not at fault. He showed resilience by returning to the pit and continuing the race after the first crash. Even after a second collision, he remained determined and emerged from the race unharmed.'
Suresh also expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, well wishes, and prayers for the actor's well-being.
Media reports said that this was his third car accident, following two previous crashes—one during a practice session at the Dubai Autodrome in January and another in Portugal before a major motorsport event in Estoril.
Ajith Kumar is a renowned Indian actor known for his work in Tamil cinema. With over 61 films to his credit, he has won four Vijay Awards, three Cinema Express Awards, three Filmfare Awards South, and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
