Police save deer tangled in rope in family's garden
This is the heroic moment a police officer saved a deer tangled in a rope in a family's garden in Michigan.
A resident alerted the Livonia Police Department about a deer ensnared in a cord hanging from a tree in her garden on Sunday, February 16.
With Animal Control unavailable over the weekend, the officers responded and freed the animal using a pole saw.
Dramatic footage shows the quick-thinking emergency responder carefully assisting the distressed deer.
The creature is seen running away as the video ends.
