Kayaking down a storm drain at 34 miles per hour
Brave kayaker Ben Marr goes with the flow in this video from the Newsflare archive as he paddles down a drainage ditch — reaching speeds of over 30 miles per hour.
The thrillseeker filmed the high-speed mission on a helmet camera.
Footage shows the kayak sliding along a trickle of water and grinding against the concrete structure as it heads towards the ocean.
He can be heard shouting and screaming throughout the 90-second journey as he battles to keep the boat upright.
Eventually he plunges into a pool of water where he can be heard to say he reached a speed of 56kph (34mph).
