Los Angeles, United States - February 25, 2025 02/25/2025 07:07 pm (GMT-0800) ADELANTO, Calif. – A man was killed in Adelanto Tuesday evening after being struck by a vehicle, possibly multiple cars, in front of the Shell/Market è Liquor store located on Palmdale Road and Bellflower Street, according to an employee at the location. Deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the intersection of Bellflower Street and Palmdale Road at approximately 7:07 p.m., where they found the man lying dead in the street. A driver remained on scene, and deputies were attempting to confirm if the victim was struck by other vehicles and, if so, if the drivers of those vehicles stopped, according to sheriff's spokeswoman Gloria Orejel. Deputies have not released the identity of the victim, pending next of kin notification. Palmdale Road was shut down between Bellflower Street and Verbena Road as the investigation was underway.
